About Amy Wilson

Amy has worked in museums, historic houses and as a public historian for nearly 20 years. She lives in the north eastern corner of London with her husband, baby Lily, and a dog called Inca.

Amy supports museums and heritage organisations on a freelance basis. She specialises in communications and commercial strategy, marketing and community engagement projects. She is a director at Storey Communications.

Amy researches and writes about the history of dress, with particular focus on pregnancy, clothing and the body in eighteenth century Britain. She sits on the executive committee of The Costume Society.
